Terms of service

Agreement
By using BrandQuill, you agree to these terms. If you use BrandQuill for a company or client, you confirm that you have authority to use the files and content you provide.
The service
BrandQuill converts structured text into an editable DOCX using a Word template selected by you. The product is a formatting and publishing tool. It does not verify the accuracy, legality, confidentiality, accessibility, or fitness of the source content or finished document.
Your content and templates
You retain ownership of your content and templates. You grant BrandQuill only the limited rights required to process them on your device and provide the service. You are responsible for having permission to use all text, templates, fonts, logos, images, and other assets included in your documents.
Acceptable use
You may not use BrandQuill to violate law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malware, evade product limits through automated abuse, interfere with the service, or misrepresent a document as approved by a person or organization that did not approve it.
Free use and paid licenses
The browser publisher includes three free exports. A paid Solo license permits unlimited ordinary use by one person while the subscription remains active. We may apply reasonable safeguards against automated abuse that harms the service or other users.
Billing and cancellation
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for paid licenses. Checkout, tax, invoices, payment methods, subscription management, refunds, and chargebacks are also governed by the applicable Lemon Squeezy buyer terms. You can cancel a subscription through the link provided in your purchase receipt or Lemon Squeezy account. Access continues through the paid period unless the transaction is refunded or reversed.
Refunds
You can try three documents before paying. If the paid product does not work for your intended template, contact support@brandquill.app within seven days of the first payment and we will refund that payment. This policy does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Availability and changes
We work to keep BrandQuill reliable, but the service is provided as available. We may fix, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will not intentionally remove paid access without a reasonable replacement, refund, or notice where practical.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, BrandQuill is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. BrandQuill is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for BrandQuill during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
